Christy and Matt’s first date was on Halloween. They decided to go as arm chairs, but in the process of making them, Matt cut himself and ended up having to go to the ER for a tetanus shot. As they told me their story, they laughed about how it ended up being the LONGEST date ever. I guess they didn’t mind that though, right? For Christy and Matt’s engagement session we headed to BYU. It’s been a while since I’ve roamed around campus as a student, so I it was fun to be back.

When Marie and I first met for a consultation, we ended up talking. And talking. Like we were old friends. I love when I can connect like that with my clients. Meeting Ian was no different. These two were awesome to photograph, and though we were racing against the sun, I really love how these turned out.

I’m back from Lake Powell and it’s back to work! Before I left I had the opportunity to photograph Lance and Karen’s engagements. These two are fabulous! So cute together and so great all-around. I’m really looking forward to their upcoming wedding!
