Things are finally starting to wind down. I have one more wedding to shoot this year, and that’s it for 2011! Since it’s almost Christmas, I thought I’d share this little festive shoot I did for my little bro’s family. Never got around to getting photos of us this year (mostly because I’m pregnant and not feeling all that adorable right now). Stay tuned for a few more wedding and portrait posts coming soon!

Isn’t Roe the cutest? These next two shots crack me up. Especially the second one where Roe is giving thumbs up.

Meet my fabulous cousin Lori and her darling family. Lori and I grew up across the street from eachother, and since I practically lived at their house, Lori is basically another sister to me. I don’t get to see her all that often anymore, so it was nice to spend a morning with them!

This was my first shoot in my new studio. It still isn’t totally finished, but it’s close! The Openshaw family was great to work with. Their little girl reminded me so much of my Audrey. Darling, spunky, and definitely had her own agenda. Love it.

Some of my favorite clients came in to town again from California to spend a week skiing. We met up at Sundance for some photos, and since the last time I’d taken their pictures was 2008, I couldn’t believe how much their daughters had grown! Since they brought their friends along I was able to photograph them all together. Aren’t these girls gorgeous? And it was so cute to see how much fun they all had together.

Love this awesome family! And they were especially great considering how BITTER cold it was.

My mother-in-law commissioned me two years ago to take black and white photographs of each of her children and their spouses (Jake took the photo of me), which we then had printed on canvas gallery wraps and hung them in her hallway. I really liked the way they turned out. We decided to do the same here, and these will be hung going up a stairwell.

I had the opportunity just after Christmas to photograph the awesome Baird family. We were able to shoot at the Hotel Park City, which is amazing. Love the lodge look and feel, and the fireplace was huge. Someday when I’m a millionaire I’m going to have a fireplace like that one. So big you can walk right into it. I was tempted to climb right in a take a nap.

After the family shots, we did a little newborn session with newest family member Norah. Isn’t she cute?

One of my favorite families! I was so excited when they decided to take their photos in the snow this year. It’s so festive. Jake and I attempted with Audrey last year, but I’m loving this version even more due to the addition of freshly-cut tree and wooden sleigh. Bring on the hot cocoa and Christmas carols!
