It’s time to announce another Camera 101 Class! Join me to learn the ins and outs of working your digital camera. Discover how to get the most from your awesome camera by learning what all those fancy buttons and settings mean. This class will also cover basic composition, natural lighting tips, and how to take the best possible picture. This class will also include some shooting time so you can practice what you’ve learned. I’m a very visual learner and teacher, so if you are too, I think this class would be a good fit for you!

WHEN: THURSDAY, AUGUST 18th

WHERE: MY HOME IN SPRINGVILLE, UT

TIME: 5:30-8:30 pm

WHO: ANYONE WITH A DIGITAL CAMERA WHO WANTS TO LEARN HOW TO GET OFF AUTO SETTINGS

AND USE THEIR CAMERA THE WAY IT’S SUPPOSED TO BE USED

COST: $100 $75 until 7/2/11 at midnight, and then the price will go back up

I’ve been sick with the flu the last few days and it’s been awful. I FINALLY had enough energy today to get myself to the computer and officially announce that I’m doing another camera class! We’ve already got some people enrolled, so be sure to sign up before all our spots are filled!

WHEN: Saturday, February 19, 2011

TIME: 2-5 pm

COST: $65

WHAT: Three hour class that will cover all the basics of how to work your camera.

Learn the tips and tricks that will improve your photo skills.

Class will include time to practice what you’ve learned.

Is your fancy digital camera still in full auto – just like it was when you first took it out of the box? Why not sign up for our beginner’s photography class and learn how to get more from your camera and take better pictures! We’ll cover:

* 10 Tips for Taking Better Pictures of Your Kids/Friends/Family
* Introduction to Exposure
* ISO
* Shutter Speed
* Aperture
* Training Wheels
* Using your Camera’s Basic Settings
* Lens Overview

The three hour group class is $125 per person and includes light refreshments. Each person will receive a textbook to keep as a reference, as well as a goodie bag! Class size is limited to 8 students so everyone will have an opportunity to ask specific questions. Reserve your spot today!

The first camera-nar will be held Thursday June, 10 at 5pm at my home in Springville. If you sign up before May 20, you’ll receive a $25 discount!!
