Yes, June 12th is my favorite day. Why? Two reasons:
#1: Thirty-nine years ago today my parents were married.
#2: Twenty-six years ago today, Jake was born.
Two major events that I will be forever grateful for. Can you see why it might be my favorite day? As I’ve been thinking about my life this morning, I’ve been overwhelmed with all the blessings in my life. How does one get so lucky to have such fantastic parents, an absolutely incredible husband, and now the sweetest little baby girl? It’s amazing.

Dear Jake: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love you more than I could ever say. I could write a novel about how much I appreciate you and all you do. And seeing you with Audrey and how sweet and good you are to her just makes my heart want to burst. I LOVE YOU
Dear Mom and Dad: HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!! I love you both so much and feel so blessed to have been raised by two such incredible people. Now that I’m a parent I’m just starting to fully realize what an awesome responsibility raising a child is, and I am so glad I have you two as examples for how to do it right! Thank you!! I LOVE YOU BOTH
