Nothing makes me appreciate how my clients feel more than having to step in front of the lens myself. I suddenly become very self-conscious, have no idea what to do with hands (or arms, or feet, or anything!), and I forget how to smile naturally. Is this how all of you feel? Do I help to alleviate that feeling when I photograph you? (My goal is to make you feel comfortable and provide good direction, so please let me know if I don’t!).
Jake and I decided to take some real maternity pics (as opposed to the quick snapshots on my old blog), so here you go. Me at 7 months pregnant as photographed by Jake. I’m laughing self-consciously to myself as I post these, but figured I can’t plaster all of you lovelies all over my blog, if I’m not willing to plaster myself, right?

Nice…real nice

Here’s a few plays from the studio. We tried some sillouhettes. I like the one of me okay, but the one with both of us looks a little funny to me…

Apologies for these (though they make me laugh). I just couldn’t resist taking a shot of my stomach from MY point of view. Some people have told me I’m not very big, but I feel huge! Can you see why now? I can barely see my feet! The second shot I’m bending forward.
