It was the only way I got any sleep (though it was still limited those last few weeks). My doctor also told me it was ok to take unisom (sleeping pill) and that worked wonders for me because it would knock me out even if I was uncomfortable. Good luck!! It's all worth it! Do you have a body pillow? That was my life saver. As for the whole bike thing after the baby is born, I see nothing wrong with letting him go. Mat does his whole golf tournament things and it has never bothered me. It makes them happy and then you take your turn doing something!
