It’s been a while since I’ve posted any photos of Audrey. I’ve got loads of photos of her, but no time to edit or post them. Since it’s now snowed, and the leaves are all falling, I thought I’d at least get these posted before fall is completely over! This shoot was pretty last minute, but I’m glad we did it, crazy hair and all.

This face cracks me up. I think I told her there was a bug on my head so she’d look up at me…

Some of my favorite clients came in to town again from California to spend a week skiing. We met up at Sundance for some photos, and since the last time I’d taken their pictures was 2008, I couldn’t believe how much their daughters had grown! Since they brought their friends along I was able to photograph them all together. Aren’t these girls gorgeous? And it was so cute to see how much fun they all had together.

I’ve been going through photos of Audrey today and realizing how fast she’s growing up. Just this week Jake and I were talking about how we can’t believe how fast this past year went. Our baby is almost 2! Even in a matter of months she’s changed. She’s thinned out (miss that baby chub!), runs everywhere, talks, sings, counts to 10, answers every question with “no” even when she means yes, and loves to mimic everything Jake and I say and do. We really need to watch out.

These first few were taken back in August.

Is it summer yet?

My sisters and I had Dolly Dingle paperdolls when were we young. Sometimes Audrey reminds me of Dolly Dingle.

Meet another nephew of mine! This Christmas was the first time I’ve ever met him, and he’s already this big! I guess that’s what happens when you live across the country from one another.

My friend Matt Butler made this awesome video of our little family, and I LOVE it! Isn’t he amazing? It’s rare that I’m in any photos with Audrey since I’m usually taking them, and even more rare for me to appear in video with her. Audrey absolutely loves watching herself and has already requested to watch this video about 50 times.

Wouldn’t you love this for your family? Why not have Matt come along on your next family, engagement, child, newborn, or high school senior portrait session and have him get all the behind the scene moments. My cousin Kara has FINALLY moved back to Utah and I’m SO excited! Not only will I get to see one of my most favorite people in the world more often, but I also get to see her awesome husband and darling little girl Saylor more often too! Saylor is such a petite little thing. At least compared to Audrey, who was (and still kind of is) a chunky little monkey. (Note: Their size and stature are not unlike mine and Kara’s as little girls–haha).

I made the mistake of having Audrey there during this shoot. She kept walking right in front of the camera. She also kept handing Saylor random toys. I guess she knew what she was doing, because I really love this shot!
