Well, so do I. And so does my sister Valerie. She’s been talking about having a photo of horses–Man From Snowy River style (a fabulous movie from the 80’s)–in her house for years now. Every year I would think, “this year I’m going to do that” and I never do. But I finally did it! When I drew her name for Christmas, I knew I had to make it happen this time. Luckily, I have an aunt (thanks Becky!!) who raises/sells horses, and has some of the most beautiful horses I’ve ever seen. It took a few different days of shooting, but with my aunt’s help (and my uncle’s lens–thanks Levor!), I was able to get THE shot. Oh yeah, and I also got a bunch of other great ones too.

I felt very “Pioneer Woman” editing these shots.
