Tyson is the brother of my good friend Nicolette. I’ve known their family for several years, and have shot both Nicolette’s and their other brother Ben’s weddings, so it’s fun to be part of their celebrations once again. I love how comfortable Tyson and Brittani are together! It made my job pretty easy.

Liz + Cory | Bridal Veil Engagement Photographer
Liz and Cory met on a snowshoeing excursion, and continue to share their love of the outdoors. I loved working with and getting to know these two, and am looking forward to their wedding!
Kristen & Nick | Springville Engagement Photographer
Loved working with these two! I especially loved watching how Nick could make Kristen laugh. They were good to put up with all my “creative” ideas, like, “let’s go in this random shop over here,” and “let’s try laying on this log right here.” Yep, I’m super creative guys. Just believe it.
This one’s for you,...
Dani + Mike | Salem Pond Engagements
Dani and Mike have been dating since they were teenagers. I loved how comfortable they were together. So easy to pose, and so fun to work with. I absolutely loved this shoot! Once I heard that Mike had a boat, and that he and Dani loved to go out in it and fish, the wheels...
Brittany + Bobby | Orchard Engagement Photographer
I met Brittany at the Bridal Fair and liked her instantly. We soon made the connection that her fiance Bobby was good friends with my little brother Aaron. The world is so small! Bobby is working out of town for the summer, but happened to come back for a weekend, prompting Brittany to check and...
Jana + Collin | Utah Engagement Photographer
This may be one of my most favorite engagement shoots I’ve ever done. As an English major, I’ve always had a love of books. And as a photographer, I love a good image. Put them together and I’m seriously in love. Jana and Collin came to me with the idea that they wanted to shoot...
Christy + Matt | Utah Engagement Photographer
Christy and Matt’s first date was on Halloween. They decided to go as arm chairs, but in the process of making them, Matt cut himself and ended up having to go to the ER for a tetanus shot. As they told me their story, they laughed about how it ended up being the LONGEST date...
Sarah + Kaden | Utah Engagement Photographer
Loved working with these two. They are both so much fun and sincere. I’m really looking forward to their wedding!
For this shoot we headed to the Salt Lake City Library and the Capitol Building. Thanks to Candace (high school intern from Highland High) for joining us and carrying our bags! I didn’t mean...
Saratoga Jewelry Co. Grand Opening
Hi friends! There’s an awesome new jewelry store in town and its grand opening starts tomorrow and goes through the weekend. Stop by for some yummy food and amazing prizes (and to see and maybe purchase some amazing jewelry–it IS Valentine’s weekend afterall). I’ll be there snapping some photos and handing out some gift cards...
Choosing Wedding Colors
I was browsing today and came across The Inspired Bride blog. You must check it out. My favorite thing they post is color choice collages. So many ideas on how to mix and match color. And let me tell you, from a photographer’s perspective, color is FABULOUS! Bright, poppy colors can really add that extra...
