Check out this handsome little man. He’s the son of our good friends. He was such a great sport and molded and posed so well! We may have pushed him a little too far though, when he had the blowout of the century near the end of the shoot–all over daddy, and the floor, and dad’s shoes. With no diaper on, you can imagine how that went. We were all laughing so hard, I was only able to get one shot and it doesn’t even show 10% of the real aftermath. It was totally worth it though! Just look at this little face.

Seriously, this isn’t even a 10th of it. By the time the little guy was done it was everywhere, I was just laughing too hard to shoot it! I guess we had him tucked in a ball longer than he liked.

Meet my newest nephew! I know I might be a little biased, but isn’t he a handsome little guy?

My bro-in-law is an awesome drummer, so we obviously had to do a few with a drum

Anthon is also at the the tail end of three older sisters. He’s certainly adored!

I photographed Oaklie’s older brother Boston as a newborn, and now he’s almost 3!! Time goes WAY too fast. It was fun to see him again and catch up with him as a little person rather than a baby. At first, he wanted nothing to do with pictures, but by the end, we could hardly keep him out of them. I think that’s the way most toddlers operate. Audrey does, at least. This post isn’t about toddlers though. It’s about newborns–Oaklie in particular. Isn’t she cute?

This little guy was such a champ. He just went along with whatever we put him through (except for that one hat! He cried every time we tried to put it on him. Good thing he didn’t mind the one with the little bear ears…). I photographed his parents’ wedding, and now here he is, a little over a year later. I love seeing families grow!

I have to start with this first shot. Makes me laugh every time I look at it.

He was quite the smiler. This is just one of a few smiles I caught from him

Check out this little handsome man I had in my studio. Such a calm and collected little guy. Wasn’t too keen on sleeping, but was content to just lie there looking around. We eventually wore him out though…

When he finally did doze off, he was sleeping with his mouth wide open. Loved it!

Daddy played baseball, so we did a few with his helmet

I’ve been meaning to post these photos for the longest time. My newest little nephew, Monroe, was recently blessed and my awesome sister in law Kayti put together such a cute little get together after. Just wanted to share a few shots…
