GO COUGS!!

- I love the skateboard one! That's so fun! I always love seeing your work. You are so good! I was looking at a friend's wedding pictures but they did NOT compare to your work! I just ordered some of our engagement pictures to scrapbook. I love scrapbooking pictures done by you, because there's always so many good ones to use. My problem is narrowing them down! By the way - it's time for us to Play!February 8, 2010 - 11:24 pm
As you may know, I’m not a morning person. But it has become nearly impossible to hate mornings when you have a little cherub smiling in your face. Here’s a typical morning at our house.
1. Wake up ready for the day!

2. Drink bottle while snuggling and reading with daddy (this really does happen every morning. Jake is an avid reader and Audrey just snuggles up while he reads)

3. Seek for high adventure off the side of the bed (or sometimes under the covers)

4. Make dad explain for the 100th time why he has to go to work, rather than stay home and play

What do mornings at YOUR house look like?
- you guys are so cool!February 7, 2010 - 10:57 pm
- Oh man! If those are not the cutest pictures EVER! I love all of them! What a doll! She has the cutest chubby cheeks. Mornings must be your favorite part of the day now:)February 7, 2010 - 1:45 am
- Oh goodness! Mere! This is just the cutest, sweetest, most wonderful little series of moments! Thank you for sharing them with us!February 6, 2010 - 3:32 pm
- Adorable. Those poor dads that have to leave the cuties behind to trudge off to work. I've tried that same face on Jeff. Much more effective when the little ones do it.February 6, 2010 - 12:46 pm
- I could only wish that my mornings looked like yours! She is so beautiful Mere!!! I loved these pictures...they really made my day!February 5, 2010 - 11:14 pm
- Let's just say, mornings at my house are nowhere near as cute as yours! Ours are usually made up of lots of grumbling, me yelling at the boys to hurry, and running out the door to try to make it to the bus stop on time. heehee.February 5, 2010 - 6:17 pm
- Those pictures are beyond cute! I wish mornings at our house looked that beautiful.February 5, 2010 - 5:28 pm
- i am so jealous of your mornings. as if i am not already tempted to steal her away from you . . .;)February 5, 2010 - 4:51 pm
- Man, she sure is cute!February 5, 2010 - 4:35 pm

- Are you kidding me? She is so beautiful and adorable. And her chub... love it!January 25, 2010 - 11:05 pm
I love this family. Their son Rhett and I have grown up together and have always been good friends. I took dance lessons from both Janet (mom) and Christina (sister). Now Matt (brother) and my cousin Jared have teamed up as wedding videographers. Check them out here. Basically, this family is fantastic all around. We met up shortly after Christmas for this shoot, and it was great to see them all!

- ahh the butlers - what an incredible family. i wish you had taken just one of ricky. teheJanuary 21, 2010 - 2:40 pm
Mary was a bridesmaid for a wedding I shot about 2 years ago. Now it’s her turn to be the bride. Hooray! Mary and Brent will be tying the knot this spring. So, of course, an engagement session was in order. We headed up Hobble Creek Canyon for this shoot. Little did they know I would be making them hike through the snow! Poor Mary’s feet were just about frozen solid by the time we were done. I’m excited about the shots we got though. I’d say it was worth it, wouldn’t you?

Mary’s poor frozen feet

- Yeah! What beautiful pictures!!! Mary & Brent you look so great!January 22, 2010 - 1:53 am
- I love these! So great!January 19, 2010 - 10:04 pm
- Meredith, these are awesome! Mary looks so beautiful. I CAN'T wait for their wedding in April. Your mission will be to successfully hide my 9 month pregnant belly behind other people :)January 19, 2010 - 7:27 pm
- Meredith, once again, you are SO talented. You even made ME look good! Thanks for doing such a fabulous job on our photos. I can't wait for you to shoot our wedding day!January 19, 2010 - 7:17 pm
Do you love horses? Well, so do I. And so does my sister Valerie. She’s been talking about having a photo of horses–Man From Snowy River style (a fabulous movie from the 80’s)–in her house for years now. Every year I would think, “this year I’m going to do that” and I never do. But I finally did it! When I drew her name for Christmas, I knew I had to make it happen this time. Luckily, I have an aunt (thanks Becky!!) who raises/sells horses, and has some of the most beautiful horses I’ve ever seen. It took a few different days of shooting, but with my aunt’s help (and my uncle’s lens–thanks Levor!), I was able to get THE shot. Oh yeah, and I also got a bunch of other great ones too.
I felt very “Pioneer Woman” editing these shots.

Clash of the Titans

Aren’t they beautiful?

I think she’s my favorite. Such a beauty!

Love the energy of this one

Check out that curly mane!

And here it is….THE shot that I gave to my sister:

Saw one that you liked? You can purchase a printed, signed copy of any of these images to display in your home or office. Just contact me for size and price. I am limiting the number of each image that I offer to 3, so once they are sold, they are gone. Thanks!

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic holiday break. I know I thoroughly enjoyed mine. But now it’s back to work!
This session actually took place several weeks ago. My friends Rachel and Micah are now officially married and enjoying their honeymoon. Woot! I was so excited these two were tying the knot, as I’ve been friends with them for years now. Rachel was a gorgeous bride, and I’m so glad they asked me to take her bridals. Despite the BITTER cold weather (not really sure how Rachel survived), Rachel still managed to look lovely.

- Oh, how I love that girl! My favorite is the bottom picture - it captures her beauty so well.January 8, 2010 - 8:00 pm
Check out this ADORABLE little gal we had in the studio just before christmas. She was so teensy tiny! (Audrey seemed like a giant in comparison). Don’t you just love newborns?

Just look at that mouth and chin. I’m in love

Here’s she is in her mom’s blessing dress. How cool is that? I love when things like this get passed down

- SOOOOOO Precious!January 1, 2010 - 11:24 pm
I can’t believe it’s upon us. The entire year seems to build up to this, and then it’s gone in the blink of an eye. I love this time of year because of the focus on Christ, the time with loved ones, the snow, the music, the feeling! It always ends too soon. I hope you all take the time to enjoy it! I’ll leave you with pics from my own family photoshoot.
I have had the vision for this shoot for a year now, but kept waiting for a good snow day, with a little sunshine, when I wasn’t working. Yeah, that day never came. So instead we settled for a slushy/snowy afternoon, with no sunshine, after one of my photoshoots. Thanks to my fabulous sister-in-law Kayti for taking the pics, for my brother Aaron for shielding her and the camera with an umbrella, and for my friends Katie and Mat for loaning me the sleigh!

I snapped these of Audrey and Jake while I was getting the camera settings right. Oh, I’m so lucky to have these two.

Thank you to my fabulous clients for making this such a great year! I hope all of you have the very BEST Christmas ever. I hope you are sharing it with family and friends.
- How adorable is your family! I LOVE that little coat you have Audrey in. I know I'm super late with the comments, but I hope you had a wonderful holidays!January 15, 2010 - 4:55 pm
- What precious moments! It certainly looks like a perfect snow day... even if it wasn't quite what you were after. You three are just adorable!December 26, 2009 - 7:49 pm
- I just got my card today! I think these turned out SOOOO cute! What a darling family and the ones of Jake and Audrey are priceless!December 23, 2009 - 6:32 pm
Okay, I’m a little late on posting these. Once again I got caught up in the christams rush! Things are finally winding down though, and I’m just now getting to my own christmas shopping! Is Christmas really only a week away? Eeek!
So check out this adorable little family. Casee and I went to high school together, but I literally haven’t seen her since we graduated. That’s about 10 years! It was so great to see her again, meet her husband and adorable little boy, and get caught up again.

Wiggity-wiggety-wha? Is it just me, or does Will look like he’s about to break out some mad rapping skills?

Looks like he loves his toes about as much as Audrey does

Oh, this face. I love it

Despite the freezing winter weather, we decided to try a few images outside. I’m glad we did! I really love this shot

- Thanks again, Meredith! The photos turned out wonderfully, and I am so pleased! And it was great to see you again, and of course meet your little family!December 19, 2009 - 5:41 pm
